Project BCNMCR Exhibition
For the BCN:MCR exhibition we decided not to make something evident, as showing our work or reinterpreting it. We wanted to find a new way to represent the concepts “Barcelona” and “Manchester”. Isn't it the goal of every design or communication piece?
As a starting point we asked ourselves: what does those words "Barcelona" and "Manchester" mean to us?
We found out that those two words could be also read as 6 other hidden words. On one hand, Barcelona could be Bar, Celo (cellophane in spanish language) and Lona (sailcloth in spanish language) on the other hand, Manchester could be Man, Chest and Ester (biblical name).
Its graphic result is a mix between a typographic experimentation and a random visual representation of its meaning as a hieroglyphic would do.
