Arts Santa Mònica, a logo with fewer letters? Creating the identity for a contemporary art centre is always a complex job and an exciting challenge. And more so when the centre is not only restricted to fine arts, but incorporates three other disciplines: science, thought and communication. We created a logo which works as a visual poem, as the four A’s are missing from the name, which correspond to the four arts which coexist at the centre. These letters are recomposed, forming a very simple, eye-catching, abstract symbol which is highly recognisable.
