The world of Graffiti tends to be a closed and self-complacent universe. Few authors distinguish themselves from the general scene. The late Saeio, who formed part of the Parisian PAL Crew collective, was one who did. Basing his work on typography, he was capable of giving it a new meaning that transcends the medium itself. His style, essentially free and spontaneous, is much closer to the world of art, with special reference to abstract expressionism.
