In addition to being an extraordinary modernist building, Palau de la Música is one of the main musical auditoriums in Barcelona. Within this project we have been in charge of the design of its Corporate Identity and over the years we have developed a contemporary communication that combines tradition and future, aimed to connect to wider audiences.

Brand Identity

One of the most complex aspect of this project was to reperesent in a single brand two institutions: the auditorium of the Palau de la Música and the Orfeó Català, its owner. Inspired by its unique architecture, we created a new symbol that graphically refers to the forms of musical notation and the floral character of the modernist building, conceived as a large garden.

For more than eight years we have also been collaborating with different contemporary artists to carry out communication campaigns, creating a modern and dynamic language adaptable to online and offline media.


This year’s campaign was created aroud  the work of Entangled Others, a duo of digital artists who created a series of AI-generated floral images inspired by the nature of the Palau’s architecture and commemorating the birthday of its architect, Lluís Domènech i Muntaner.


This season, we collaborated with digital creator Anna Carreras to develop a visual language based on the pixel as a contemporary recreation of modernist ornamentation and aesthetics, which generated the common thread throughout the season.


Together with digital artist Alba G Corral, who works from code, the new campaign image was created, inspired by the different perspectives and looks of the new season. To reinforce the Palau’s digital presence, an interactive microsite was created containing all the programming and other complementary content.


In the 2019/2020 season and in previous seasons, we collaborated with different visual artists such as Miquel Barceló, Antoni Llena or Joan Fontcuberta, reinforcing the idea of the Palau as a cultural center, providing added values that go beyond musical excellence.
