SYL 2020

Twenty is a very singular number. A double twenty is even more, so in order to wish the best for the upcoming year, we were commissioned by the printing house SYL to develop a special print piece for its regular clients. Most of them are publishers, art galleries and cultural institutions, so we decided to create a visual essay on Twenty.

We created 20 exercises around the figure, exploring different ideas and visual languages, and printed them using exclusively SYL’s paper leftovers with sustainability in mind. As a result, the final piece becomes a variety of textures and formats bound by a black thread.
