Burj Al Babas is an urban development project that was created in 2014 at the foot of the mountains in northwest Turkey, with the intention of attracting wealthy buyers. Its pizzarra towers and French-style ornamentation have nothing to do with the Ottoman style of its surroundings; they are more reminiscent of Disney movies. Today, they stand empty and form a ghost urbanization that affects the landscape of the region.
