Ibiza fuerte y luminosa (strong and luminous) is a photobook by the architect Josep Lluís Sert, the photographer Joaquim Gomis and the art promoter J. Prats Vallés. Edited in 1967, the book portrays the deep relationship between the orography of the island, its inhabitants and its architecture. The balearic approach to construction, perfected over centuries, would become crucial for Sert’s conception of architecture.
