Miguel Adrover is a Spanish self-taught fashion designer, which successfully took off in 1999 with his first collection.
His castings included friends, family, models of all sizes, ages and all ethnicities back when diversity and inclusion were not common on catwalks.
He used garments from other brands, even logos and materials that had nothing to do with fashion to create new pieces.
He even used a repurposed coat dress made from a Burberry raincoat, almost got him sue.
Despite positive reviews, the designer faced challenges in the 2000s due to political conflicts and lack of financial support.
Miguel Adrover announced his retirement from fashion in 2017, but we can still see his talent through his instagram.
