Shigeo Fukuda (1932 – 2009) was a Japanese artist and designer. The extraordinary ability to translate complex concepts into iconic images earned him international fame. His recognizable style, more based on the power of the idea rather than on a specific graphic technique, is a good example of balance between the Japanese postwar vision, the strength of pop art and the compositions of Swiss graphic designers.
