Wilder Mann is a photographic series from Charles Fréger, whose body of work is mainly centered around uniformity and collective vestment. In this particular one he explores the primitive side that still subsists in contemporary European culture. Secular rituals, masks and costumes are maintaining among the rural sphere ancestral costumes referring the circle of life, the seasons passing or even sexuality.
